McCormick & Kuleto's
Two principal Architects, Richard Brereton and Charles (Church) Hildreth, formed ADR in 1988. Both principals worked as part of the design team on Skywalker Ranch, George Lucas' headquarters located in Nicasio, California. Since the completion of the Ranch they have continued to be involved in projects that require special attention to custom detailing, as well as more conventional commercial, industrial and residential projects.


Young Residence
ADR's work includes a number of restaurants from Atlanta, Georgia to San Francisco, California, each designed with the particular theme carried throughout the restaurant and reflected in the architectural detailing and furnishings. ADR's work consists of many residential projects including two large custom homes done in the Napa Valley. Both projects exceeded 18,000 square feet of living space and incorporate a variety of custom architectural detailing and fenestration. Click here to see our portfolio.

Master plans, plan unit developments, custom homes and large commercial office and retail projects.

1981 - Lucas Film, Inc., Nicasio
Implemented the design/drafting department at Skywalker Ranch.
Preliminary and working drawings, rendering, architectural detailing and construction supervision.

1986 - Opened independent office

1987 - Corporate headquarters at Dolby Stereo in San Francisco
Four million dollar custom theater and multi-purpose room, which took two years to complete.

1988 - Established ADR
